The concept of collectives is intertwined with the history of hip-hop. A$AP Mob first appeared on the scene with A$AP Rocky's "Purple Swag," and since we have seen their growth. From the bottom to the top and with a loss of their creative leader/genius the Mob has truly been on a journey.
Since first launching a creative team within A$AP Mob called AWGE around the time of the release of A$AP Rocky's At.Long.Last.A$AP, the secretive team was quite silent until the start of 2016. Since the beginning of the new year, the collective has pieced together a new SoundCloud page and has released some absolute fire on it.
The page features 8 new tracks from artists in the Mob, including songs by Rocky, Ferg, Twelveyy, Ant and even a song from Playboi Carti & Uno. Even the album art for the songs is incredible. Simply, A$AP Mob was founded to create art, and their releases reflect that even in the wake of A$AP Yams passing, the crew is going to go hard, maybe even harder for their late friend.
